Choosing Between Liquid Chlorine, Tablets, And Granules

Selecting the right form of chlorine depends on your pool's needs and maintenance preferences.

Liquid chlorine is a fast-acting solution ideal for quickly raising chlorine levels or addressing large pools that require immediate treatment. It is especially effective for shock treatments and regular sanitization in high-volume pools. Its liquid form enables efficient, consistent dispersion via automated liquid chlorine feeders.

Chlorinating tablets provide a consistent, long-term release of chlorine, making them a convenient option for secondary sanitization to bridge the gap between service appointments. Granules, such as calcium hypochlorite, offer flexibility; they can be used for both sanitizing and addressing algae or other specific issues, particularly when cyanuric acid levels need careful control.
