HASA-CIDE

HASA-CIDE is used to control the growth of algae in swimming pools. It may be used in normal treated swimming pools and is effective at acceptable pH ranges.

Important Safety & Usage Notice:
This product is a highly effective algaecide intended for targeted use in swimming pools and spas. Do not exceed recommended dosages or use as a substitute for routine sanitizer maintenance.

Overuse can: Increase chlorine demand, Leave persistent organic residues, Contribute to nitrate buildup and recurring algae problems,
and cause foaming or cloudiness in pool water.

Dosing Instructions:
• Visible algae: 18–27 fl. oz. per 10,000 gallons
• Post-clean fill: 10–18 fl. oz. per 10,000 gallons
• Maintenance (weekly): 3.5–7 fl. oz. per 10,000 gallons
• Winterizing: 10–18 fl. oz., or up to 27 fl. oz. if residual algae is present

Best Practice Timing:
• Add HASA-CIDE. Let it circulate and work for several hours.
• Brush pool surfaces to knock off weakened algae.
• Shock within 12–24 hours after treatment to burn off the dead algae and residual organics.
• Keep filter running continuously during this cleanup phase.
