Coppercide

Hi, guys. I'm Gabe Talese for HASA. Today, we are looking at coppercide, an algaecide which is formulated to be effective against most types of algae and can be used in all types of swimming pools. Its long lasting action kills existing algae, and maintenance dosages prevent algae regrowth.

For as little as one ounce per five thousand gallons of water, you can treat your swimming pool's algae situation. Always check the directions on the bottle for the amount needed for your particular situation. Unlike some algaecides, copper side will not cause water to foam and will not alter the pH of chlorine of the water. Copper side is compatible with chlorine, bromine, salt chlorine generators, mineral purifiers, and ozone generators.

And another great benefit for using copper side, water treated with copper side can be used immediately.

No waiting. Let's run through how to use it. For your initial application, dilute two fluid ounces of copper side per five thousand gallons of pool water with one gallon of water, and add your mixture around the pool. Run your filter for one hour so the mixture will disperse.

If you still have a bit of algae, you can then run your filter for an additional five to six hours. To maintain your clear algae free water, dilute one fluid ounce of copper side per five thousand gallons of pool water with one gallon of water, and apply your mixture every two weeks. Hey. This is Gabe Talese for HASA.
